Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the tiny screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas to study in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before moving to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging in local independent films as well as international commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. She relocated to New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. She had minor roles on JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004, her debut major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside many notable TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. She then migrated to the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time after. She was Marisol Deko and was also the the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most current TV work was in NBC's dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The show was later cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is from Italian heritage and is the younger sister of Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was traditional and religious one. Milano's journey into the world of sports began when she was seven, as her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Her audition was among over 1,000 applicants. Her audition was considered the only girl. Milano was featured on television in commercials as well as off Broadway productions including a musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
